Terms of Use
Effective 1 November 2026
In short: Clipfold is free to use, with an optional Pro subscription billed by Apple. Your images are yours and stay on your device, so keeping backups is up to you.
These terms apply to the Clipfold app for iPhone and iPad (“Clipfold”), developed by Anuj Kamboj (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using Clipfold you agree to them. They work alongside Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). If the two conflict, these terms apply where the law allows.
Licence
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Clipfold on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store's Usage Rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or resell the app, except where the law allows it.
Your content
- The images you import and anything you create with them stay yours. We don't receive them and claim no rights to them.
- You're responsible for having the right to store and share the content you put in Clipfold.
- Clipfold keeps your vault only on your device. Keep your device backed up. If you exclude the vault from backups or delete the app, we can't recover it.
Clipfold Pro
- Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or yearly. Current prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; the current period stays active until it ends.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and is charged.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. We can't issue refunds directly.
- If Pro ends, everything you already created stays available. Only creating new things beyond the free limits needs Pro again.
Acceptable use
Don't use Clipfold to break the law or to store or share content you have no right to. Features may change between versions as we improve the app.
Third-party services
Purchases go through Apple, and subscription status is checked with RevenueCat. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to those services. See our Privacy Policy for what they receive.
No warranty
Clipfold is provided “as is”. We work to keep it reliable, but we don't promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that text recognition, tags or duplicate detection will always be accurate. Check before deleting anything you might need.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Clipfold. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Clipfold Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Clipfold or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them against you.
Changes and ending these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the effective date above, and continuing to use Clipfold means you accept the new version. You can stop using Clipfold at any time by deleting it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections where you live.
